Saturday 7:30 AM Car Wash. Weather: cool
Riders; Aaron K., Bernard, Duvall, Jeff, Jim, Larry, Mark G., Michael, Mike
Aaron K, it was GREAT to see you again. We thought you ditched us for some wimpy group in the Valley!
We went around the lake and through Hidden Valley. Once at the top, Bernard headed back; everyone else continued ahead through DV and back towards Thousand Oaks and home, via Stonehaus. It seemed to be a pretty tame ride. No one went long, and no one was on fire. Maybe we all partied too much (or whatever) on Friday night?
Sunday, wet
The roads in Oak Park were wet at 7:30 AM, but we could have ridden. I decided not to; stayed home and went out for a quick one later in the day.
the dirt yesterday was amazing. Very little dust, no mud, and lots of traction. Small group; myself, Albert, Jim, BZ and Shahram. Jim and Shahram retreated early for coffee while BZ, Albert and I explored more trails in the Ahmanson ranch early. Some steep and fun downhills, some very steep climbs, all great riding. Riding in the dirt after a light drizzle is a must in case some weren’t aware 🙂
